Welcome 2015

Hello folks!

It has been a good Fall & Winter at the lodge. Not as much hunting this year as last year. It has been good times with good food. I have picked up a few clients here and there but I am busy elsewhere too. I am working part time at Nixon Real Estate office helping Mrs. Nixon with her rental property management. It has been an interesting experience.

Two weekends ago, February 7-8, I went to Brady to see my friend there and put my taxes into my spread sheet, that was one objective and the other objective was to try out some Italian recipes to add to my web site menu! Out of the 7 recipes, 4 will be added (check them out!) plus some that are tried and true life-time favorites!

A trip to the lake this weekend led to some good reading of a cookbook and crochet on purple blanket for grandson “R”. One ball down and one ball to go…..then the next project will be cross stitching! Spring time will get here and back porch relaxing will take place. Hubby will be doing garden and I will have my little corners planed with things. This year there will not be any container gardening for me unless it will be patio tomatoes or something. Peppers will go into the ground and so will the egg plant, somewhere….yes, I am ready for winter to be gone and warm weather to stay here…..

Big plans for this year is to go to the USPCA Conference in San Antonio!. It will be July 23-26, and I have already registered and have my room reserved! Yes, I am excited that the conference is so close to me!!!

Stay warm, everyone! Hugs & Blessings….Vicky D
