Information When You Stay At a B&B
So you are coming to “The Burg” and staying in a B&B with your family or group. “What do I need to know?” First of all, you need to call me to be your Personal Chef for your dinner meal so you don’t have to worry about driving someplace and standing in line for your table to eat somewhere. You will have a chance to enjoy your stay after doing the wine trip or day on the town!
With that said, here is what you need to expect with my service. I am my cost per person plus cost of food for the menu we agree on; see menu suggestions on my Menu page here. If you want something more specific, let me know. Method of payment is CASHor CHECK, not VNMO or ZELLE or Square or any type of electrical payment. I am small town and an honest person.
If you plan on doing your own thing and cooking some meals where you are staying, my suggestion is to have them pre-made and brought with you or bring your own cooking equipment to fix the food. Not all B&B residences are fully equipped with the proper cooking equipment to do what you are wanting to fix. Most places DO have a microwave, oven, coffee maker of some sort, fridge, etc. but the pots and pans are not always the best quality or selection for cooking up a great meal in some places. That is why you hire me! I bring everything I need to cook the menu we agree upon and all you do is sit back and enjoy your friends an relax! There’s no worry about having to clean up afterwards, because I will be doing that! I will serve you the meal, buffet style; you do not want me to fix your plate because I put too much food on it and I don’t want good food going in the trash! I will take up the dishes and clean things up, you don’t have to do that either!
If the place has ample dishes to use, I will use them, otherwise, I will get paper/plasticware for the meal along with paper napkins. Left over food will be put into containers for you to take home with you when you leave, and trust me, there WILL be left over food!
Hope this little bit of information is of help to you and don’t forget to give me a call! 830-889-5577
Your Home Personal Chef Information
As a personal chef, I will come to your home and conduct a personal interview and complete a detailed dietary questionnaire, which allows me to know what you like, dislike, and if there are any food allergies I need to be aware of. Once the information is discussed, we will then plan the menu for the designated cook day in your home. On the cook day, I will arrive at your home with what I need (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) to fix the meals that we previously agreed I would prepare for you. The food will be prepared, cooled and stored in containers provided by me with thawing and/or re-heating instructions. When I have completed our cooking time, your kitchen will be clean and your house will smell wonderful from the meals I have prepared for you. You will have more free time on your hands from not having to cook!
On the scheduled cooking day, I will shop for the groceries needed for the meals on your menu, plus any extra items you may request from the store for your personal use to save you time in your week.
By being a personal Chef, I can offer you meals that are personalized just for you, prepared in your home. The menus can be your favorite recipes or if there are special diet requirements, I can customize meal plans to accommodate them. Whether it be low-fat, low carb, gluten-free, or any other special diet requirement, I can customize tasty menus to meet those special food needs!
My Personal Chef fees are very simple to understand. The cost is my time plus the food/groceries it takes to prepare the food on our cook day and travel time. Method of payment is CASH or CHECK, not VNMO or ZELLE or Square or any type of electronic payment. I am small town and an honest person.
